Emergency Preparedness for Individuals with Paralysis
Ramps and Home Modifications Project
The Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) will create opportunities for Non-profit community organizations to distribute funding for Ramps and Home Modifications to Ohioans with paralysis. Applicants are encouraged to develop a process to distribute Home Modification funds to persons with paralysis within their community. These home modifications are identified as a specific need this person has to be able to safely maneuver within their home and exit their home in case of an Emergency and reduce barriers to access Emergency Services.
