Action Alert: Urge Congress to Fund and Support Critical HCBS Legislation (ncil.org)

Despite the vital significance of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), both funding and access continue to be insufficient. Numerous individuals are confronted with extensive waiting lists, restricted service options, and overwhelmed caregivers. In the absence of adequate funding and legislative backing, many may be compelled to enter institutional care, which is at odds with the intentions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Supreme Court’s Olmstead ruling.
